about

"Shimalay (Single Version)" is the fourth and final single to be taken from A Band Called Paul's debut album "Primero". It has been remixed and edited for this release.

Having done Latin Jazz, Dark Electronica and Indie-with-a-60's-vibe on previous singles, this time the band do Stadium Rock ... with a twist. It gets there, but only after a round of our usual madness at the beginning.

lyrics

SONG LYRICS:
I can't believe that this has happened again.
You're a dirty, no-good low-life Shimalay.
I was isolated. You never hesitated.
You just detonated in my way.

You say you want me back ... well, no no.
Not this time.
You tell me you can change ... well, no go.
I've heard it all before.

Oh shut your mouth, or did you come here to tease me?
Do I make it easy for you, Shimalay?
To think ... I was glad you found me when you gagged me and bound me.
You still astound me, Shimalay.

You say you want me back ... well, no no.
Not this time.
You tell me you can change ... well, no go.
I've heard it all before.

No, no. No. I'm not coming back.

Now you can keep on dreaming
Or find some hidden meaning in this, Shimalay.
But when the pressure increases,
who will pick up the pieces of you Shimalay?

You say you want me back ... well, no no.
Not this time.
You tell me you can change ... well, no go.
No, no.

You say you want me back ... well, no no.
Not this time.
You tell me you can change ... well, no go.
I've heard it all before.

Where do we go from here?
Where do we go from here, Shimalay?
I'm not coming back, I'm not coming back.
